| The first reunion of the Robert
E. Lee was held in Groton, Connecticut on 20-21 September 1991 at the "Tavern On The
Green" (formerly the Submarine Base Officer’s Club). There was a "Get
Acquainted" Cocktail Party with an Open Bar on Friday, 20 September and a
Dinner/Dance on Saturday, 21 September. The cost was $55.00 per person. Most attending
members stayed at the Quality Inn in Groton, where Gil Shaddock had arranged for special
rates (single rooms - $60.00; double - $64.00). |
